Western New Yorkers’ Perspectives on Health Care

Central to the Reaching for Excellence initiative is engaging Western New Yorkers in shaping the region’s health care future. Community input received throughout this project will help frame a key deliverable of this effort: a series of community-driven health care goals that drive key indicators of health care system performance for regular monitoring and reporting to the community.

We invite you to share your thoughts on and experiences with health care issues facing this region. What are the region’s greatest health care challenges – reinforcing the health care safety net, reducing health care costs, reaching rural populations, building a better elder care system? What does the region need to do today to ensure a high-quality, accessible system for the future?
